We started the project Nükleersiz (Nuclear-free) in March 2012. With Nükleersiz, we aim to produce a reliable, accessible and up to date knowledge base regarding nuclear power in the form of a website in Turkish.
Taking the renowned French activist site sortir du nucleaire as a model, the site presents information on the risks nuclear energy creates as well as other issues such as waste, economics and emissions. It includes news and info files, reports, videos, a detailed glossary, a quick facts sections as well as an archive of the history of the anti-nuclear movement, and articles by experts. The site also has an actions section.
The content, put together by the project team with contribution by the science board is updated with new information and reports, expanding by the day. Our news feed also includes updates from this on-going effort.
